You can terminate the lease agreement due to the agent’s misrepresentation about the property’s condition. You can approach the Mumbai Rent Control Board to seek relief, including compensation for the inconvenience and potential damage. You should gather evidence like the conversation history with the agent and photos of the waterlogging.
