Indian law doesn’t provide specific protection for contract workers to keep their jobs after the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 (CACL is abolished. The abolition would likely mean that all contract workers would be considered directly employed by the main employer, requiring them to comply with labor laws for permanent employees.
