My previous employer in India underpaid me and made me handle extra work like business logistics and advertising, promising payment later. However, he never fully compensated me and didn’t provide any official appointment documents. He later threatened to disturb my family and in-laws if I didn’t sign cheques for him. Now, he’s pressuring me to pay other employees’ salaries and they are also calling and harassing me. I’m desperate for help.

You have a strong case for legal action against your former employer. You can file a complaint with the Labor Commissioner and the police for non-payment of wages, harassment, and criminal intimidation. You should also document all communication and evidence of the threats.
