My father worked at a company in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, before he passed away in 2010. My mother also isn’t with us anymore. I’m trying to claim his PF, but I need a Guardianship certificate for my 15-year-old brother. We’re from Uttarakhand, my father worked in UP, and I live in Delhi. Can someone guide me on how and where to apply for this certificate in one of these states? Thank you.

As you are the elder brother, you can apply for Guardianship certificate for your 15-year-old brother in the court of the district where you reside, which is Delhi in this case. You will need to submit a petition with necessary documents proving your relationship with your brother and your father’s demise.
