My father, who worked for a government organization, passed away in 2011 while on duty. He had two wives, and I am the son of his first wife. My father’s second wife’s son has applied for a compensation appointment multiple times within a year, but his application has been rejected. I’m unsure why.
Since I didn’t apply within a year after my father’s passing, can I still apply for a compensation appointment?
