My employer told me verbally that an employment bond wouldn’t apply if I resigned, but after working for a month, they’re now saying it’s valid. Is an employment bond legally binding without a stamp paper?

Under Indian law, an employment bond is legally binding even without stamp paper. However, a verbal agreement is not legally enforceable. Your employer’s verbal promise may not be binding, and you can contest the bond’s validity based on the discrepancy between their initial statement and their current claim.
