My company is letting me go without warning, and the project I was working on is restarting. I haven’t received any official notice or compensation. Can I get legal help to get some money back? I know about the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, sections 25.N and 25.F. Can I use both sections, or just one?

You might be able to seek legal help under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. However, you can only use one of the sections – 25F for retrenchment without notice or 25N for termination without notice, depending on the circumstances of your termination. You should consult a lawyer to determine which section applies to your situation and whether you have a valid claim.
