I’ve been working for a private limited company for the past year, but yesterday I received an email stating my services are no longer required. There’s no formal appointment letter, but I have my UAN number and offer letter. The company hasn’t provided any notice. What should I do in this situation?

As per the Indian law, your employer is required to provide you with a notice period as stipulated in your employment contract or as per the applicable law, before terminating your employment. Since you have not received any notice and have been terminated without reason, you can file a claim for wrongful termination with the appropriate labor court. You should consult a lawyer to understand your rights and options.
