I’ve been working as a software professional in a healthcare company for the past three years. The company’s financial situation is tough, and they’ve been deducting TDS from my salary. I received the TDS form for the first year, but not for the second or third year, which is currently ongoing.
I’m planning to leave this company and join another one. However, I’m concerned about the lack of TDS forms for the past two years. Could you advise me on what steps I should take if they don’t provide me with the forms? Will this cause any issues with joining my new company? I have all my salary slips, and I always received my salary by cheque.

You should immediately request the TDS forms from your current employer. If they fail to provide them, you can file a complaint with the tax authorities. While this might delay your joining the new company, it’s important to resolve this as it may hinder future tax filings and refunds.
