You are not legally obligated to pay the company’s unpaid rent. The landlord cannot target you personally for the company’s debts. It’s best to consult a lawyer to respond to the notices and protect yourself from further harassment.

When I refused, they terminated me. They also unfairly deducted my entire tax from my salary, despite me providing details of my investments, promising to issue a Form 16 later. The timing of this termination was particularly devastating, as I was scheduled for knee surgery on the 23rd. The company was aware of my situation, yet they terminated me before I could utilize their insurance. The sudden loss of income meant I couldn’t afford the surgery and had to cancel it. I feel this was an incredibly unfair act, and I’m seeking legal advice. I’ve tried contacting them multiple times to appeal the decision, but I received a legal notice accusing me of harassment. I’m now seeking expert advice on my options. What are my chances of successfully challenging their actions in a court of law? Are there any legal professionals in Bangalore who could take up my case? I’ve also heard about filing a writ in the High Court. Any guidance on these options would be greatly appreciated.
