I worked for XYZ Restaurants & Distributors Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi until May 2013. In January 2012, the company started paying me through a different company, ABC Outsource Pvt. Ltd., without formal termination or joining procedures. When I left ABC Outsource, I was still owed over Rs. 7 Lakhs in unpaid incentives, leave salary, bonus, travel allowance, educational allowance, notice period pay, and PF contributions. I’ve repeatedly contacted the Directors of both companies, but haven’t received any payment. What legal options do I have to recover these overdue payments?

You can file a claim in a Labour Court in Delhi against both companies, XYZ Restaurants & Distributors Pvt. Ltd. and ABC Outsource Pvt. Ltd., seeking recovery of the unpaid dues. You can also file a complaint with the Labour Commissioner under the Payment of Wages Act and the Industrial Disputes Act.
