I worked for a private company for a month and a half but haven’t received my full salary. I only got paid for 15 days, and the rest is pending. I don’t have an appointment letter, so how can I recover my dues?

You can file a claim with the Labour Court or the appropriate authority under the Payment of Wages Act, 1936. You can argue that your employment was established despite the lack of an appointment letter, based on your work and the company’s acknowledgment of your service through partial payment.
