I worked at a BPO company in India back in October 2015. I made a mistake on a call and used inappropriate language with a customer. Unfortunately, the company’s Vice President, who was also the owner’s wife, overheard me. The owner then confronted me, physically assaulted me, and verbally abused me, even threatening my family. I was too afraid to report this at the time. Now, they’re refusing to pay my salary. I still have my employee ID card from that company. What can I do about this situation?
