I quit my job on 27th November 2013 and my resignation was accepted. However, I was unable to give a month’s notice due to a serious illness. My doctor advised complete rest, but I still tried to help my colleagues remotely, and they even acknowledged my efforts. Despite this, my company hasn’t paid my salary for November. They claim they can’t pay me. What can I do in this situation?

You can legally claim your November salary. You were unable to give notice due to a medical emergency, which is a valid reason. The company is obligated to pay you for your worked days in November, even if you couldn’t complete the notice period. Consult a lawyer to understand your rights and options for legal action.
