I joined an IT company in April and was working diligently. Everything was going well until a disagreement with my boss on June 17th. He sent me home, and soon after, I received an email from HR informing me of my termination. I was under a 10-month bond agreement, but I haven’t received any official termination letter. I’ve repeatedly emailed them about my salary for the 16 days I worked, but haven’t gotten any response. They seem unwilling to pay. Coming from a middle-class family, I’m lost and unsure of what to do next. Can you please advise me on what steps I can take?

You can file a complaint with the labor commissioner or initiate legal proceedings in a civil court for recovery of your salary and damages for wrongful termination. You should also send a legal notice to the company demanding your salary and termination letter within a reasonable time frame.
