I joined a recruitment firm in India a couple of months ago, but realised the role wasn’t right for me. When I resigned, they pressured me to quit without serving my notice period, threatening to deduct my salary (around ₹10,000). I’m willing to complete my notice, but they’re refusing. Now they’re saying I have no choice but to accept this. Should I send a legal notice? How can I get my full salary back?

Under Indian law, you are entitled to your full salary even if you resign without serving your notice period, unless your contract explicitly states otherwise. You should send a legal notice demanding your full salary and outlining the situation. If they continue to withhold your salary, you can pursue legal action.
