I joined a company as a trader, signing a 2-year training agreement. The actual work was vastly different from what was promised. After 7 months, I resigned giving a 30-day notice. The contract states I have to pay ₹100,000/- if I break it. My director agreed to accept two months’ salary, ₹50,000/-, in place of the bond. I can’t afford to pay more. What can I do to resolve this situation?

You can try negotiating a further reduction in the bond amount, citing the significant difference between promised and actual work. If unsuccessful, you could explore legal options by demonstrating the breach of contract by the company and seeking legal advice to potentially challenge the bond amount.
