I cleared the SSC exam for a government job and got selected. A specific department was assigned to me. However, they’re now saying I don’t meet their educational requirements, citing qualifications not mentioned in the SSC notice. SSC confirms my eligibility, but the department refuses to offer me the job. It’s been a year since the final results, and I’m still waiting. What should I do? Is SSC legally obligated to ensure I get the job since they deem me eligible?
