How long can I take maternity leave in India? Is it okay for my employer to ask me to work during this time? I just had my baby 6 weeks ago.

In India, you are entitled to 26 weeks of maternity leave. Your employer cannot ask you to work during this time, and any attempt to do so is illegal.
