After serving as Assistant General Manager (Engineering & Projects) in a Public Sector Undertaking since 2007, I was unexpectedly transferred to the marketing department as Assistant General Manager – Pharma (Medicine) in Guwahati. Despite an ongoing project, I was demoted to a managerial role without any formal charges or investigation. Subsequently, I was further demoted to a Medical Representative position, the lowest level in the marketing department, again without due process. This series of demotions, accompanied by salary reductions and harassment, culminated in my termination without an opportunity to explain my side of the story.
