As an Indian living abroad, I applied for a term loan with Max Life through PolicyBazaar.com in April 2016. The policy and medical checkup went smoothly, but I encountered problems uploading documents. I uploaded them multiple times, but still received automated messages asking me to do so again. Despite informing PolicyBazaar and Max Life consultants about the issue, I was assured that the policy would be issued quickly. While I received confirmation of policy issuance in May, I haven’t received the physical copy yet.

Based on your situation, you have the right to seek information and a resolution. Contact Max Life and PolicyBazaar again, requesting a status update and a copy of your policy. If they fail to respond adequately, you can consider filing a complaint with the Insurance Ombudsman or seeking legal advice.
