Under Indian law, you are now a US citizen by virtue of your marriage to your husband. However, you’ll still need a US visa to travel to the US. Expediting your visa application might be possible based on your husband’s military service and deployment, but you’ll need to contact the US Embassy in Delhi for specific guidance and assistance.

Previous Article Dear Advisor, My brand new car was stolen just two weeks after I bought it. I have insurance with an IDV of 6.5 lakhs. The court process has caused a delay in submitting the required documents. In the meantime, the insurance company sent a letter saying they’ve closed my claim.
