A daughter-in-law in a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) doesn’t have any inherent right to the father-in-law’s business or property. She only gains rights if she is a coparcener, meaning she’s born into the family. However, she can inherit through her husband if he predeceases her father-in-law.
