My wife and I were living in a rented room near her parents’ house. We had a disagreement with her family, and a year ago, on 28th May, they came to our place while I was away and took her back with some wedding photos. I filed a police complaint, but they denied our marriage and told me to return to my home in Kanpur and avoid contacting my wife. When I tried to reach out to her, they filed another police complaint. I sent a legal notice through my lawyer on 22nd April to clear up the situation. What should I do now?
