My grandfather gifted his entire property to his eldest son. However, he’s refusing to give my mother any share. Is there any chance she can claim a portion of the property?

Under Indian law, a parent can gift their property to any of their children. Your mother may not be able to claim a share of the property unless there is proof of an agreement or legal obligation that mandates equal distribution, or if your grandfather was mentally unsound during the gift.
