My father, separated from my mother for eight years, has been trying to control our lives in the most unfair ways. He’s even sent notices demanding 12,000 rupees from each of us siblings, claiming it’s for maintenance, while the true reason seems far from it.
Eight years ago, he tried to inappropriately involve himself with me, his own daughter, while I was still studying. I had to move out, for my own safety and my brother’s future. Now he’s demanding allowance from all of us, including me.
How can I ensure my brother and mother’s financial security and protect us from further harm caused by my father’s actions?
Best Answer
You can approach the court seeking a restraining order against your father to prevent him from harassing you and your family. You can also file a maintenance case against him, seeking to ensure your mother’s financial security. Evidence of your father’s inappropriate behavior and his past actions can be presented to the court to strengthen your case.
