Indian law recognizes your right to live independently. You can inform the police you don’t wish to live with your parents and seek their protection. However, they might not immediately support you if you are deemed capable of living independently. It’s recommended to seek legal counsel for advice and assistance in protecting your rights and making appropriate arrangements.
