My wife and I got married two years ago, celebrating with both a Hindu and a Christian wedding to honour both our families. Now, my passport is nearing its expiry date and I need to reapply. What marriage certificate do I need to include my wife’s name in my new passport? I only have a month left before my current passport expires. Could you please guide me on the process?

You can use either the Hindu marriage certificate or the Christian marriage certificate for your passport application. The Indian passport application process requires a valid marriage certificate, regardless of the religion of the marriage. Since you have limited time, submit your application as soon as possible with the required documentation.
