My son was born in his mother’s village, but the birth certificate lists that village as our permanent address. We actually live in a different town. Is this alright? Should we get it changed? If so, how do we go about it?

It is not mandatory for a birth certificate to reflect your current address. While you can have it changed to your actual address, it’s not legally necessary. To change it, you’ll need to contact the registering authority and submit proof of your current address, such as a utility bill or voter ID.
