My mother received a house as a gift from her father. She promised to give it to me, her eldest son, someday. Should I have her sign a simple agreement on a Rs. 100 stamp paper, with two witnesses, to ensure the house is registered in my name after her passing? Is this legally valid, or is there a better way to handle this?
