My mother never got a birth certificate. She also didn’t attend school, so there’s no school leaving certificate. How can I get a legal birth certificate for her in this situation?

You can apply for a late birth certificate under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969. You will need to provide evidence of your mother’s age and place of birth, such as a sworn affidavit from a relative, and supporting documents like ration card or voter ID.
