My husband ran a sanitation business, all by himself. Sadly, he passed away on December 5th, after being ill for a week. His family is holding onto all his original business papers, and they won’t give them to me. I only have copies. When I went to the bank to prevent money from being taken out of his business accounts, they asked for the originals. I don’t have his account number or passbook, but I showed them a copy of his trade license. They still need the original documents. What can I do now?

You have the right to access your deceased husband’s business documents and accounts as his legal heir. Contact a lawyer to help you secure the original documents from his family and formally claim his accounts. You can also approach the bank with a court order if needed.
