My grandfather, who has a disability, signed loan papers for our ancestral property. My uncle has been taking advantage of this for the past two years. Is there any way to reclaim our family’s land?

Under Indian law, if your grandfather was mentally incapacitated at the time of signing the loan documents, the contract may be declared voidable. You can file a legal challenge to the loan agreement and seek to reclaim the ancestral property based on the grounds of undue influence or lack of consent.
