My grandfather bought a flat in Mumbai, which was later transferred to my uncle. He then unknowingly transferred it to my grandmother, who is no longer alive. We’ve been living in this flat for over 10 years, with the electricity bill still in my uncle’s name. He refuses to transfer it to my mother’s name. We only have a ration card as proof of residency. What are our options to legally transfer the flat ownership to my mother?
