My daughter’s divorce case is ongoing at the Family Court in Karkardooma. She’s been living with me since 10th May 2014. Sadly, she’s lost some important documents like her school and work certificates. Could an affidavit help her by confirming her new address, her changed surname (and that of her young son who is with her), and stating that she lost these certificates while at her husband’s home? She needs this for school admission and other things.

Yes, an affidavit can be helpful in your daughter’s case. It can confirm her current address, her changed surname, and her son’s surname. Additionally, it can state that she lost the certificates while living with her husband, supporting her claim of their loss. This can be used for school admission and other purposes requiring documentation.
