Under Indian law, Bharat could face legal repercussions if they were aware of Chandra’s intention to copy the documents. Even if Bharat delegated the task, they have a duty to ensure the work is done properly and ethically. If they knew or should have known about the copying, they could be held liable for negligence or aiding in the offense.
