The name discrepancy on your documents could pose an issue during your application for Canadian study visa. You can submit a legal affidavit, along with copies of your updated documents, to establish the connection between your old and new names. This affidavit, attested by a magistrate, should clearly state the reason for the name change and confirm that both names belong to you.
