There’s no specific time limit for filing a case under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. However, the law does prescribe limitations for filing certain offenses, like those under the Indian Penal Code, which might be applicable depending on the nature of the case.
