What reasons can a husband cite in India to legally end his marriage through divorce?

Under Indian law, a husband can seek divorce on grounds of adultery, cruelty, desertion, insanity, conversion to another religion, and if the wife has been living with another man. He can also seek divorce if the marriage was invalid due to a pre-existing marriage or other legal impediments.
