What documents are needed to demonstrate a mental health condition for a divorce in India?

In India, a mental health condition can be a ground for divorce under the grounds of cruelty or unsound mind. To demonstrate this, a medical certificate from a qualified psychiatrist or psychologist diagnosing the condition is required. Court may also consider medical records and testimonies from family and friends to establish the impact of the condition on the marriage.
