Based on Indian law, you can file for divorce on grounds of cruelty, which includes physical and mental abuse. Your wife’s attempts at suicide and verbal abuse, along with her parents’ interference and refusal to help, constitute grounds for divorce. You can also seek legal protection against her threats and the threats made by her parents.
