Based on Indian law, your marriage is considered valid under the Special Marriage Act of 1954 as it was solemnized in a temple. The fact that you didn’t register the marriage doesn’t invalidate it. You can file a case for restitution of conjugal rights and seek police protection against your wife’s father’s influence.
