My wife and I are both in transferable government jobs. She’s a Major in the NCC and I work for the central government. We’ve been apart a lot since getting married, with her staying with our two children. For the past couple of years, her behavior has changed drastically. She rarely talks to me on the phone, and when I call, she argues. Now, she’s threatening to have me arrested if I try to see her. She says she’ll file a police complaint alleging dowry and physical abuse against me, my mother, and brothers. I’m incredibly stressed. What should I do?

You should consult a lawyer immediately. It appears there are serious marital issues, and your wife’s threats of false accusations raise concerns about potential misuse of legal processes. A lawyer can advise you on your rights, protect you from false allegations, and guide you towards a solution.
