Under Indian law, a husband is obligated to contribute towards his wife’s expenses during the pendency of a divorce case, even if she’s living with her family. Regarding the dowry, you can file a separate case demanding its return. This case can run parallel to the divorce proceedings, and the court can order the husband to return the dowry along with interest.
