You can legally annul the marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954, as it was registered. File a petition in the family court in Ghaziabad, citing grounds for annulment like fraud or coercion. The process may take several months. While involving the police may deter harassment, it is best to seek legal counsel for advice and to ensure proper procedure is followed.
