My husband received a gift of land from his parents. If we were to get divorced, would I have any claim to that land?

Under Indian law, a gift of land received by your husband from his parents would be considered his separate property. You would not have any claim to it in the event of a divorce unless it can be proven that the land was acquired during your marriage and contributed to by you.
