Also, is there a maximum limit for maintenance charges under Section 125? If so, what’s the highest amount? Or does the court decide based on my husband’s income?

You can file a counter-complaint against your husband for false accusations under the Domestic Violence Act. Regarding maintenance under Section 125, there is no fixed maximum limit. The court decides the amount based on your husband’s income and your needs.
