My husband hid his inability to have children from me before our marriage. I tried to get him help, but he refused. His cruel behavior made me very sick, and I was under medical care for a long time. We’ve been married for almost two years now. I’ve filed cases for domestic violence and harassment against him, but he’s filed for separation. If I seek to annul our marriage, can I still receive financial support?

Under Indian law, you can seek an annulment based on concealment of a material fact like infertility, especially with your husband’s refusal to seek treatment and the emotional distress he caused. Even if the marriage is annulled, you may be entitled to financial support depending on the circumstances and the court’s decision.
