My husband had a good job before our wedding in 2009, but he lost it during the economic downturn. He’s always talked about starting his own business, but his attempts haven’t been successful. I’m working and able to support us, and we don’t have children.
He’s been disrespectful to my family, uses harsh words with me, and we fight often. I try to avoid talking to him these days. He seems to struggle with socializing and wants to control my decisions. He doesn’t understand that we both need to contribute financially. He recently started a small financial management business that won’t be profitable for another five years and ignores my questions about his work.
I’m feeling overwhelmed. Should I consider divorce?
