Under Indian law, you can seek divorce on grounds of your husband’s “cruelty” or “adultery” if proven, even after a short marriage. You can file a case seeking alimony and maintenance. Consult a lawyer to gather evidence, file the necessary documents, and negotiate a fair settlement.
